Pupil selected to represent Wales U15 Football

Paul Moreno, a Year 10 pupil at Llanwern High School, has achieved a great success by being selected to represent Wales in the Under 15 Football team. We are really proud of the dedication and hard work Paul has put in which has led to this selection.

Paul has been through a lot of ups and downs through his journey starting from 2015 playing for a local team called Lliswerry Stars. From there he was scouted by some clubs, then going on trial but was released by clubs like Swansea, Bristol City and Cardiff city. Paul kept on working hard every day and night and was then signed by Cardiff City. Paul has continued to improve and was called up for a regional camp for Wales where he performed well and was asked to attend another camp for the Wales U15 team.

Very recently Paul played in Ireland for his country against both Hungary and Ireland. 

Representing Wales at such a young age reflects Paul's exceptional skills, dedication and commitment to the sport.
