School Uniform
Guide to uniform at Llanwern High School
Blazer | Plain black with school logo. |
Shirt/Blouse | Plain white with a traditional collar and top button shirt that should be tucked in at all times. |
V-neck Jumper |
Black V-neck jumpers with the school logo are permitted to be worn along with the compulsory blazer. Blazer are compulsory, jumpers are optional. |
Tie | This no longer needs to have the Coleg stripe running through it. |
Trousers | Trousers should be of formal appearance (not stretchy/lycra), plain black with no decoration. Leggings/tracksuit bottoms or jeans are not to be worn to school. |
Skirts | Plain black, and nearer to the knee than not |
Footwear | Plain black, fully enclosed (with a back and a toe to the shoe), no decoration, weatherproof and robust and suitable for school. No boots allowed. |
Coats |
Should be weatherproof and not have large logos (no hoodies permitted). Coats are not permitted to be worn inside the school, and pupils will be asked to remove them. |
Bags | Big enough for books and equipment. |
PE Kit | Black t-shirt with school logo, black shorts or tracksuit bottoms black socks and trainers. |
